Miracles: Stopping Smoking With No Cravings
Among the many miracles from "The Way to Happiness" booklet is this story. Back in 1980, I was a smoker and wanted to quit, but couldn't do it. I was definitely hooked. I tried many times but failed to quit. I started getting some "auditing" (one-on-one Scientology question and answer techniques applied by a trained practitioner).
I found that this particular auditing was addressing various moral rules, or precepts, from the booklet, The Way to Happiness, obtainable by clicking here Bridge Pubications. We first worked on the first precept, "Take Care of Yourself", that talks about the importance of eating properly, getting enough sleep, etc. In this auditing rundown I THOROUGHLY examined my life in relation to each moral principle. It led me to examine questions like: Do I agree with it?, How have I violated it? Have I any false data in connection with it? It took a highly trained practitioner asking such questions to really help me to LOOK at my life. I found that this increased awareness and by communicating my answers about it lead to personal realizations resulting in me becoming cause over this aspect of my life. When I finished all the questions connected with the first precept, I had the most startling "awareness": I no longer had ANY desire to smoke! This was profound, since I knew how "addicted" I was. Now my compulsions to smoke were completely, totally GONE. So I simply stopped smoking cigarettes. It was not in any way difficult. I didn't miss them. I had no cravings left. AMAZING! For me, a miracle of miracles. And I haven't smoked since. Joe B. Get yourself a copy by clicking on this link.. For more information about the above procedure, use the form below.
