Pneumonia Cured in 24 Hours

I once came down with a case of pneumonia.

I actually didn't even know that I had it for the first two days I was down. I was so ill, that I couldn't get out of the bed to even see a doctor.

On the third day of my illness, I got my brother to help me to the car, and we headed to my family physician's office.

When we got there, I could hardly breathe, and collapsed near the front door. My brother and two or three other people lifted me through the door and into one of the treatment rooms.

The doctor and his aides immediately gave me a shot of something that opened my lungs. I would have asphyxiated to death right there, if they hadn't.

Once I was breathing again, and recovered enough to speak, I asked my doctor what in the world was wrong with me. After examining me, she told me, "You have pneumonia".

I asked, "Is it serious?" She matter-of-factly replied, "You've got a 50/50 chance to live".

Talk about getting my attention.

I immediately went straight from her office to my local Scientology church, and sat down with one of the pastors to get some spiritual guidance regarding my condition.

After hearing what I had to say, the Pastor pulled out a copy of L. Ron Hubbard's Introduction to Scientology Ethics.

In that book, L. Ron Hubbard describes the various "conditions of existence", from the depths of degradation, up to high levels of affluence and power.

He quietly thumbed through the book, then settled on one page, where he read silently for a moment. He then turned the book around on his desk and had me read a key paragraph that applied my exact situation.

I began to read the paragraph. (It was something I'd read before regarding personal ethics.)

As I read along, something curious occurred. It happened very quickly. For just an instant, I clearly saw myself inside of something like a huge glass ball. No sooner had I seen this mental image, than it exploded outwards in every direction. Mind you, this was all my own mental imagery.

In that instant, I stopped reading. Something of tremendous force had suddenly been released in my mind. I had no words to describe what had just happened, but I felt an enormous sense of lightness and relief after this happened. I knew instinctively, that we were done with the consultation.

I went home, and felt much better than I had before I'd left the house that day. When I awoke the next morning, I was 100% back to normal. There was no sign of the pneumonia remaining.

I was astonished. In fact, I felt so good that I called my supervisor at work, and offered to come in that day.

It was incredible to know that just 24 hours prior to that, I'd only had a "50/50 chance to live."
