Ever since I can remember, I’ve always wanted to help people and also to find out: “What’s it all about… Where are we going… Who are we?”

Through school and college I kept looking for and studying various philosophies. I came of age in the late 60’s with all the "peace, love & happiness" chants, but no workable technology to find them.

Then one day, someone I hadn’t seen for a while appeared to have changed since the last time I saw him. He seemed so much more "himself," comfortable and able to communicate easily. I asked what he’d been doing and he said, "Scientology."

He took me to an introductory lecture and I knew that I’d found what I’d been looking for.

I found that it had the real and workable technology of personal relationships called the "ARC Triangle".

Affinity, Reality and Communication form the ARC triangle, with each point dependent upon the other two. These are the component parts of Understanding.

Every point on the ARC triangle is dependent on the other two, and every two are dependent on one. One can’t cut down one without cutting down the other two, and one can’t rehabilitate one without rehabilitating the other two. On the positive side, one can rehabilitate any point on the triangle by rehabilitating any other point on it.

I found that I could easily relate to this and many other new concepts that I was learning and I now had hope.

My questions were finally getting answered and I found a workable method to really help others, not only with things like relationship advice, but with the actual technology of life itself.

So I decided to become a Scientology practitioner as my profession.

This was all an amazing adventure for me.

I found the source of what makes you react irrationally, say and do things that "aren't you," and have inexplicable emotions and ills that hold back intelligence and ability.
